This is a continuation of The Great Chicago Oyster Happy Hour Adventure series.
The next stop on our list was Swift and Sons located at 1000 W Fulton Market, Chicago, IL 60607. Their happy hour runs 4–6:30pm Monday through Friday!
Ambience
Swift and Sons is located right in the heart of Chicago West Loop Fulton Market area, which is a prime location for high end restaurants and bars. This makes it a prime location for pairing this happy hour with a full date night experience. I arrived around 5:15pm on a Thursday and was very energized by the environment right away. You walk through a corner revolving door to a very classy entryway and are greeted by hosts and a complimentary coat check. Continuing through the hallway, there is a double sided bar immediately in front and the larger restaurant seating to the left. For this day, I took a seat at one of the bars right ahead.
Right after sitting down, the bartenders were very attentive and laid out a fancy leather placement with Swift and Sons burned into the bottom. All of this was accompanied with modern, sleek music with the notable vibe of Feel Good Inc. by The Gorillaz Everything about the bar and…
