The Great Chicago Oyster Happy Hour Journey

Welcome to my journey of embarking on finding the best Chicago Oyster Happy Hour specials. Throughout this series, I will be going through everything you need to know about the best Oyster Happy Hour specials that Chicago has to offer, their pros/cons, and all of the tidbits of accompanying information such as additional food specials and optimized deals. Original inspiration for this journey of epic proportions came after I quit my job and thought about the best way to stay busy while I wait to start my new job in June. It had hit me — what better way to sharpen my skills time than to combine my love for coding, oysters, and adventure all into one?

To start, I assembled a list of the oyster happy hours from various websites over the past several years on the internet. In order to make sure I don’t show up at one of these places and receive a happy hour menu with discontinued oysters, I called every location to verify the details of the oyster price and hours, and confirm that they were still in operation. Good thing I did because several locations had adjusted their hours, including one which completely stopped serving oysters during happy hour. Potential disaster averted.
